Representative Jamila Woods represents District 26 in the Maryland House of Delegates. She is a pastor, social worker, and the founder of Gabriel's Lyric Therapeutic Services. A direct descendant of Harriet Tubman's family, she carries a legacy of fighting for freedom and equity. She chairs the Juvenile Law Subcommittee and serves as Secretary of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland. Her work focuses on child welfare, mental health, and criminal justice reform.
