The NOBEL/Women Legislative Breakfast is a premiere event. Held in conjunction with the National Black Caucus of State Legislators (NBCSL) National Conference—this high profile breakfast convenes with overflowing crowds of legislators and conference attendees. Each year NOBEL/Women presents a theme that is defined by some of the principle issues facing the African American community. Keynote speakers include nationally recognized experts whose message is intended to spur additional dialogue that leads to action. In seeking to bridge the information gap, NOBEL/Women works with sponsors to make available key educational materials and resources pertaining to the subject matter. During the Legislative Breakfast, NOBEL/Women reports on its activities and initiatives and takes time to honor the outstanding leadership of the NOBEL/Women board, NBCSL members and corporate and community supporters.
